Welcome- Your Life Matters

Hi there! 

Here in the side bar of Bind My Heart I am joining together three big parts of my life.... Blogging, essential oils, and living a healthy lifestyle. The main blog is written from a christian perspective where I share what it is like to live with chronic illness and the things I have learned through reading the Bible. Had I not started blogging before I got sick I don't think I would have ever begun. Though this was not the intention of the blog when it began, out of devastation and confusion I felt prompted to share how my life was changing. I have grown to enjoy organizing my thoughts through writing. It is also fun to apply scripture throughout as reminders that this is all in God's hands. Can I get an Amen?

Your Life Matters!

I first started using essential oils about two years ago when I was a nanny for 7 children who had lost their mother (see original Bind My Heart post). I was scared of them at first.... the oils, not the kids (;. After 4 months of working there full time, I was completely in love... with both the oils and the kids! Soon after, I signed up for my own wholesale account through doTerra. I couldn't have known then, but these oils have helped me overcome so much through battling chronic illness. Not one part of our story is wasted! 

Speaking of Stories..... 

Here under this little side tab for essential oils I will share stories! Stories of people who doubted essential oils (boo) but eventually saw the light and now use them regularly (yay)! I will share stories of how I personally have used essential oils for cooking, cleaning, home remedies, gifting, and diffusing. Reaching beyond essential oils, I want to share tips and tricks for those suffering from chronic illness. I know what it is like to be hindered and crave the freedom of an adventurous life.
